RESERVATION : RESERVED OR NOT ?
RESERVATION : RESERVED OR NOT ?
In around 1970s or 80s, Dr. B.R Ambedhkar (an Indian Freedom Fighter) fought for the Dalits (Lowest levels of people in the society)
and other backward classes to get their rights and Fundamentals in the
constitution and from then till now the ruling government has implemented many
schemes and programmes for the upliftment of the backbenchers of our country.
But if we check overall statistics of employment and productivity, it has been
decreasing gradually and the Indian government still thinks Reservation is a powerful
weapon for making India superpower. The real truth is it can never be achieved
unless we restrict the Reservation system and policy.
The Indian Government is thinking that developing the underdogs will lead to a
clear road for a new India. But until they develop themselves with the
developing world, none of the schemes can make them improved and a better
member of the society. In many colleges, cut-offs for SCs, STs, OBCs, etc. are
much lower than the General categories. Nearly 30-40% seats are reserved for
the ‘good-for-nothing’ students, those students who doesn’t know their own
future how then they can shape our country’s future. This country needs
talented and passionate youth who can think, imagine and yield/invent something
not developing the Dalits. Last year JEE Mains (An entrance for Engineering) cut offs were just some single
digit for the SC/ST/OBC but 81 for the general students out of 360. I just want to ask are
they not humans like us(general)? Don’t they have a brain like us? Then why
they have to be treated like a ‘Under-dogs
King’ and we like a freedom fighter. For Engineering admission in India, General section students
have to secure at least 75% but for SCs/STs/OBCs its just merely 40%-50% in their Intermediates. The
government wants to give the future keys to some of the unsafe hands of our
country. Most of the politicians are SC/ST/OBC, who either didn’t studied much
or had some criminal records or are corrupted. If law says that ‘Everyone is same in the eyes of law’,
then where is the similarity in the eyes of law? Where is the discipline,
honesty and truthfulness of the so called law?
Due to these
Reservation policy, nearly half of our youth population are either in tears or
end their lives for not making it up for a reputed institution after the
intermediates. Even if the girls are also the scapegoat of the Reservation
policy. 10% seats in every institution is reserved for the girls. Why? Even if
those girls are not studious and hardworking they are getting into some
colleges easily while talented girls are still pestering their
time and energy making rounds around many colleges. Some of the girls fight
till last, others just give up and the rest take the easiest way to torture
their parents – suicides. According to the sources and researches, from the
last 5 years nearly 47% suicidal cases were reported for not getting into a
good colleges due to this bloody Reservation.
And still Government thinks reservation will bring out a new India.
No one thinking about the alternatives and another way to solve this biggest
challenge. Those SCs and STs should be appointed as the personal pilot of all
the VIPs and VVIPs of India. They should be securing the lives of many VIPs in the air. They should also appointed as the physician for
operating the ‘Law makers’ of our country. If anything happens to them, they should be responsible. They should be the personal
bodyguards of all the politicians except Prime Minister and the President. Cut
offs in the entrance exams should be equal or the average of the both the categories and no
inequality among the SCs, STs and Dalits and general should be there. Lastly, I
would like to close by stating that Reservation
has created havoc around us and it should be solved as soon as possible,
otherwise this country will be again ruled by some foreign colonies and again
we will be seen in the roads protesting against the ruler and a new Gandhi will
emerge to free the country. STOP
RESERVATION, SAVE COUNTRY
